Supporting your child with reading

27th September - Class News

Linked to our learning of Mexico and their culture, part of our pledge was to visit The Brunts Academy where the children thoroughly enjoyed creating their own spicy chicken fajitas. Parents joined us back at Bramble and we all ate our food together, which they said was delicious!

19th September - Class News

The children love learning about Mayan patterns and sketching them. We are next moving onto etching the images onto an eraser using lino tools to use as a print image.

High expectations in class this week I handwriting practice; making sure ascenders and descenders are correctly sized and joined correctly.

We have started stopping at certain places of our Harry Potter editing stations with purple polishing pens to edit and improve our writing.

I am so proud of all of year 6 this week with their impressive setting description of ‘the shack’.
